Dimplex CVR Radiant Cassettes are designed to meet the need
for high level environmental heating in commercial or
industrial environments and may be used as a
supplemental or total heating means on a permanent
or intermittent basis.
CVR’s are a plane surface emitter type heater, providing a
hemispherical field of radiant heat, heating the fabric of the
building.This is very different to a Quartz heater which provides
spot heating.
Because the CVR heats the building fabric, it is important that
the building is well insulated and has a low level of heat loss and
air changes.
Radiant cassettes may be used for continuous or intermittent
heating, although it would be expected to take approximately 2
hours to bring a well insulated room up to temperature if used
intermittently.

CONSTRUCTION/FINISH
Pressed steel case finished in durable white
epoxy powder coat.
ELEMENTS
Mineral sheathed heating element embedded in
aluminium heating plate. Forward surface finished
in matt black and contoured to increase radiant
heat emission. Rear surface finished in natural
aluminium to deflect heat forwards.

POSITIONING
● Minimum mounting height 3000mm.
● Clearance of 1250mm between the face of
the heater and any combustible or heat
sensitive material must be maintained.
● 600mm minimum between the heater and
any vertical wall. Increased to 1000mm if
there are curtains or other flammable
materials.
● Heaters should be spaced evenly above the
area to be heated. Distance between heater
centres should not be greater than the floor
to ceiling height.
●The distance between the heater centres and
adjacent walls should not be greater than half
the floor to ceiling height.
